Ursula Traschütz

Ursula Traschütz, mother of 3 sons, was born on April 25, 1955 in Heidelberg,

Germany. Scribbling on her elementary school’s desk used to be her first arty

attempts, followed by creative arrangements of schoolbooks and blotting paper.

She completed academic studies of social work and theatre education and during

her subsequent long-standing job at the psychiatry she asked for and cultivated

artistic and cultural offerings.
 
Her artistic concerns are versatile: her development brought her across dance,

singing, theatre, sound and poetry, intuitive painting up  to fine arts. Her main

concern however is dealing with language. So it’s no wonder that her path led

her to book-metamorphose / bookart, which  is focus of her artistic works today.
